At the end of Black Horizon, the Wanderer discovered that he carries a hidden strength—yet he has not faced the darkness itself. Spark of Hope begins as a reality check. The storm is still out there, and now he must confront it.

The song opens with powerful guitars, pulling us back from the hopeful tones of the previous track into a tense, ominous atmosphere. The setting? A restless sea beneath a dark night sky, with the Wanderer alone in his small boat. It’s the calm before the storm—the moment of truth.

“The darkness is silent, the calm before the storm.”

The lyrics capture the stillness, but also the weight of what’s coming. He knows there’s no more running—only facing the darkness head-on.

The Voice Returns

As the music builds toward the chorus, synths turn menacing, signaling the danger ahead. Then, a familiar voice from Black Horizon returns, urging him forward:

“Set your sails towards the sun, let the darkness subside and free your soul!”

Here lies the song’s core theme: hope as a weapon against despair. The chorus bursts with the promise of light, a rallying cry for courage amid the storm.

The Battle Begins

The second verse takes us into the thick of it. The storm has begun, and the Wanderer is no longer passive—he’s fighting back, battling through chaos toward the light. The lyrics echo determination:

“Just follow the light, find your purpose. Land of fantasy, chase it endlessly.”

But there’s a twist. In the midst of struggle, the voice tells him something unexpected:

“Don’t be afraid, it is part of you.”

This line reveals the song’s deeper meaning: light and darkness coexist within us all. The Wanderer realizes he cannot destroy the darkness entirely—he must accept it, balance it, and move forward.

With this understanding, he steadies himself, resets his sails, and pushes through. The storm begins to fade, the darkness retreats, and a new dawn approaches. His journey isn’t over, but the spark of hope has carried him through his first true trial.
